Cave tubing has become one of Belize’s most popular, rejuvenating and electrifying adventure. Nohoch Che’em cave system is located approximately 1 ½ hours’ drive from San Ignacio, on the George Price highway.Come join us as we take you on inner tubes floating down the refreshing therapeutic waters of the Caves Branch River. The adventure starts with crossing the river followed by a 30 minutes hike through the lush and scenic tropical rainforest to the remarkable cave’s entrance. Here we hop in the crystal clear water in our tubes and float down the river disappearing into the Mayan underworld. Cruising through Xibalba you will be amazed and enchanted by geological formations, stalactites and stalagmites that sparkle like stars in the sky. Before exiting the Mayan underworld, you will encounter small rapids that you’ll have to battle, adding more excitement and fun. Exiting, you’ll just sit back, relax and enjoy mother nature’s evergreen jungle with occasional birds chirping.
